Winter is the season of cold and darkness. It's a time of reflection inward, storing our energy, and restoration. It is associated with the water element, tranquility and flow.

Winter Yin Yoga
5-week series

Yin Yoga is slow and deep. Most postures are done on the ground. As we head into Winter we will work on stimulating the Kidney and Bladder meridians. Yin is slow, dark, feminine and cooling. Yang is active, fast, and hot, think of the sun. Most of our lives are heavily yang. When they become too active, we burn out. Yin will help you find the balance between doing too much and doing too little. Store your energy with Yin Yoga this Winter!

This class includes weight bearing on hands, knees, and wrists.

Have you been looking for a gentle yoga class that is slower paced with a teacher who knows how to modify poses for common injuries? If you are worried about flexibility, losing your balance, or just wanting to start safe and slow, this may be the class for you! Each class is designed around each person in the class and tailored to your needs.

Restorative Yoga
6-week series

Class meets LIVE via Zoom.
This 6-week series is focused on restoring our bodies and recharging our energy reserves. Poses are supported by blankets, pillows, and other props. No yoga props at home? You can use a couple of thick books, a couple of pillows from your bed, and any blankets that you'd like! Great for all levels. A wonderful way to de-stress and let go!
ALERT: This class requires props: a yoga bolster, a yoga strap, 2 blocks, and 1-2 blankets. If you don't have these props at home, you can substitute a couple of bed pillows and 2 thick books for blocks. bring any blankets you'd like.
