Indulge in pure bliss the first Friday of the month for soothing Yin and Yoga Nidra.


YIN YOGA is a form of yoga that is practiced mostly on the ground focusing on releasing tension in the low back, hips, legs, neck, shoulders and spine. Yin Yoga postures are held for a long time to help gently pull and pressurize the connective tissue around the joints. This helps with arthritis, tight muscles, and achy joints.


Yin Yoga emphasizes the qualities of Yin: relaxation, receptivity, quiet, and surrender. We spend a lot of our waking hours in a state of yang: doing, achieving, accomplishing. We must also take time to find harmony and balance within by slowing down. This session will help you do just that. We end our workshop with yoga nidra which means "Yogic Sleep." In this guided relaxation you will journey through the 5 koshas (or layers of being) to help strip away stress and tension on all levels!
